Daryl Carpenter owns and operates Metropolitan Property Management, a licensed commercial/industrial property management and leasing company based out of Surrey, BC Canada. He has been in the property management business since 1994 and the land development business since 1997. He is the General Manager for Resland Development Corp. Daryl currently serves on the Board of Directors for Upton Capital, a mortgage investment corporation and has so for the past 3 years; The Canadian Museum of Flight in Langley, BC; and G-Sky, a living wall manufacturing and installation company for the past 6 years.
Trevor’s background has been in management and operational positions within the business sector for over 8 years before moving over to property management 10 years ago. Trevor now runs the day to day operations of Metropolitan Property Management Inc. a company incorporated in 2006 by Trevor and co-owner Daryl Carpenter. Metropolitan has a proven track record of success within the industry of property management, land development, and real estate investment and consulting. Metropolitan currently manages over 400,000 square feet of real estate for a variety of owners/groups throughout BC, Alberta and Manitoba. In addition to management, over the years Metropolitan has developed various partnerships and joint ventures with their clients. Licensed by the Real Estate Council of British Columbia and as members of the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver, and Surrey Board of Trade, Metropolitan has a working relationship with many realtors in British Columbia, Alberta and Manitoba.
Rheanna is the Director of Strata Management at Metropolitan Property Management. She brings over 9 years of related industry experience, combined with unique skills garnered from her prior career in the service and hospitality sector, where she helped expand a golf resort and a predominant Vancouver hotel through her exceptional customer service skills.
Rheanna values the weight of education, and enrolled at BCIT in 2005 to pursue her dreams. Shortly after obtaining her much deserved Marketing Management Diploma of Technology, she took a Property Management role with a thriving real estate investment company.
Rheanna began as a Property Manager and was quickly promoted to the Senior Project Management position. She was responsible for overseeing major structural and aesthetic renovations, as well as managing budgets and staff, and dealing directly with tenants and home owners. As a Project Manager, she has overseen renovations of nearly 400 properties. These experiences have given Rheanna a strong working knowledge of building maintenance requirements and the ability to take the appropriate actions to ensure property values are increased for the owners.
During this time, Rheanna purchased her first strata unit, and was elected President of the board. Soon after, she became the Manager of the self-managed strata corporation for the next 5 years. Rheanna successfully managed the staffing, operations, and performance of the 6 building complex and executed all of the necessary duties of a licensed strata manager.
As an owner, Rheanna has been involved with 15 different strata councils and management companies. She has learned first-hand what is important from an owner’s point of view and the qualities that an effective Strata Manager should have to grow the corporation. Through these experiences, Rheanna has successfully developed these traits.
With Rheanna’s extensive experience and drive to succeed, it only seemed fitting to offer her expertise to other homeowners in the Lower Mainland, and create a partnership with Metropolitan Property Management to start a Strata Management Division.
When Rheanna isn’t glued to the computer screen, she spends time with her husband Kevin and adorable son Kayden in White Rock. Her passion is in real estate and is always looking for different ways to invest. Traveling with a good book is always a great way to relax, but when she can’t sneak away, she enjoys sports and giving back to the community through volunteering.
